Alternate Reality Worlds (ARW) is the story of Racheal, a young woman who is transformed into a cat girl and transported to another world. She is equiped and trained in the ways of the world and then sent to the battle arena to learn to fight. There she meets others like herself who are also powerful warriors. She learns that she can transform into a powerful beast cat but she looses her reason in the process. While training at a friends place, she learns that some of her friends have disappeared and she has to travel to another world, with the few friends she has left, to save her friends and learn why they are being targeted. Where does their strange powers come from? What is the Fountain of Alimag that keeps getting mentioned? Racheal must learn to survive in a strange world while meeting many strange creatures - both friend and foe. Will she be killed by her foes, over come by her own powers, or will she finally reach the fountain and finally make her way back home. Join the story every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to find out. First Time Readers: Please start reading the story at Chapter 5 as the art and writing start to improve at this point. You can read the chapter summeries below to learn that happens in the earlier chapters. If you enjoy the story, you can always go back later and read the pages you skipped. ARW was created May 4, 2005 and is currently completing it's third year. |

 I have been writing and drawing my own stories since I was a
child. I am currently (March 5, 2008) doing freelance work in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
I'm also designing a RPG using RPG Maker XP. Racheal is given an animal token hair band and transforms into a cat girl. Obitckert reveals himself and offers to train Racheal in the ways of his world. While shopping for equipment, Racheal bumps into a small elf boy named Balap. He is running from Lord Taguna's guards after taking a book (Charhex) that Taguna stold from his master. Sir Leontio showed up to help a lady (Racheal) in distress. Just as the fighting begins, Obitckert shows up with his magic bag and helps the group escape. The group gets split up. Sir Leontio and Balap end up at Balap's house with the magic satchel while Racheal and Obitckert are stranded in another dimension. Leontio tries to use the satchel to find Racheal and ends up finding his wife, Lady Saratch, instead. Balap manages to find Racheal and Obitckert and the group gets back together. Leontio and Saratch go home while the rest of the group continue onward to another world. Obitckert enters Racheal into the BioBattle compatition so that she can learn combat skills under ideal conditions. She is forced to join a group of girls called the Voluptuous Vixens. The group consists of Angel (the leader), Slara, Spectoi and Ann. The girls are not very friendly to her at first and she has a hard time fitting in. Her first battle doesn't go very well and she almost gets eatten by a multi-tentacled creature. Two aliens land on the planet and begin fighting each other. The battle starts to endanger the citizens of the city and Racheal decides to stop them. The two aliens turn out to be a Slimorp and Rakuceo, a Scrofian. They are both smitten by Racheal's beauty and start fighting for her affections instead. However, Balap hates Slimorps and he uses a token he stold from Obitckert to transform the slimorp into a bunny girl. Obitckert uses this oppotunity to explain a little about the origin of the tokens. Angel, Toi and Ann reveal that they are also Token Girls like Racheal and the girls deside to work together to find the fountain of Alimag - the original source of the tokens. Note: Starting from Chapter 5 the pages are in color and the art starts to improve. If your new to the series, I suggest you start from this chapter and only read the earlier chapters after you're done reading the rest of the story. The girls are in the battle of their lives as they fight the Scalions. Not only are they powerful snake-like creatures, they also have a history with the Vixens so that neither size will give up until the other side are defeated. Toi and Bunny almost die in the battle and end up transforming into their token beast forms. Bunny, who's used to transforming, helps Toi gain some control over her new body and the two of them help defeat the Scalions. Bunny reveals that she knows Terra, who is not really a scalion at all, but actually the snake girl. Terra joins the Vixens despite many objections. Horese shows up and offers to help the group find the rest of the twelve token girls. No one is happy with the arrangement. Racheal asks about Horese's history and Terra explains that Horese is the only surviving Token Girl from the original twelve. She then tells a long story about the history of the tokens (which may or may not be a true story). The girls head to the Megamall in search of equipment before heading out to look for the missing token girls. They meet Suzy, a Plymorp, who helps them find new outfits. Suzy finds it hard to maintain her form with so many strange creatures (the token girls) standing so close to her and faints from exustion. Angel comes up to the girls are reveals that Slara's father is sick and Slara want's to catch the next shuttle to her homeworld. Racheal says it would be quicker to use the satchel to teleport there. Slara jumps into the satchel and leaves everyone else behind. The girls follow Slara and Racheal immediately gets in a fight with one of Slara's brothers. Some officials show up and Racheal is forced to fight a duel of honor. Slara takes her brothers place when it looks like he's about to lose and she and Racheal fight it out. Slara proves to be the stronger fighter and Racheal admits defeat. She must preform a task for Slara as penance. Horese shows up and tells the girls that she's found Gena but that she's in trouble. Slara won't leave her father and Racheal can't leave her side. Toi desides to stick around as the rest of the party travel with Horese. Slara takes Racheal and Toi into the mountains to look for medicine for her father. On the way they encounter some Pigvox and a blue Kaga. The Kaga scares the Pigvox away and Racheal adopts the creature and names it Kang. Toi is captured by a Giant Eagle and carried to her nest. Toi transforms into her beast form and escapes but in her frenzed state attacks the girls. Racheal tries to calm Toi down while Slara gets the medical plant she needs. Racheal is hurt and transforms into a cat girl. Slara runs all the way down the mountain with Racheal and Toi in pursuit. Slara then traps the girls and waits for then to calm down. Kang finds Balap laying in the grass and drags him home. Slara helps him recover and asks what happened. Apparently, the rest of the girls were ambushed and captured. He managed to escape with the satchel, which he lost. A friend of Slara's, named Kate, showed up and balap accused her of having the satchel. Kate revealed that she had seen her sister carring a strange bag and so the group headed to her sister's temple. Cepani revealed that she would only return the satchel if the group could solve three puzzles first. The first two puzzles were solved somewhat easily but the last puzzle required the party to enter a labyrinth and retrive the satchel. The group enters the labyrinth and searchs for the centre. After avoiding several creatures and traps, they are confronted by a giant minotaur, named Birhena. Actually, Birhena turns out to be the goat beast girl who has been transformed beyond reason. Racheal manages to calm her down with the help of Chahex and she helps the party find the centre of the maze. The satchel back in their hands, the girls (with Birhena following along) head out to save their friends. After fighting a group of skeletons and three powerful warriors, Balap was hurt and Birhena was turned to stone. The group then snuck into the city to search for some help. They are luckly enough to encounter a member of a resistance group and leave Bapal to recover in his care. With the help of the resistance, they enter the keep of Lord Taguna and confront Lady Elise in the dungeon. Elise has a powerful wizard and an animal girl of her own to fight with and the girl's very lives are on the line. Slara joins Balap and Kang in a search for the monkey token. The group travels to a land filled with tropical jungles and giant lizards. Will she find the token or will her journey end before it has really begun? Slara returns to confront Horese in this exciting final chapter of the series. All your favorite and not so favorite characters will come back and many twists and surprises will occur before the story ends with the climatic page 500. Who will live, who will die, and who will be changed forever at the story builds toward the grand finale. |
